about

This EP was conceived as a companion to Rescue at Nazaré, giving us a place for a couple of tracks that didn't fit on the LP (the title track and Solstice). Since we had the opportunity, we decided to go back and revisit some older, never before released songs from when we were just getting going recording together.

Broken Stiletto, Lone Pine and Tomales were all recorded sometime in late 2007/2008. We recovered the original recording projects (back then we used Cakewalk on Windows) and converted them through a painstaking process to Logic. From there we broke everything down to bare tracks and remixed and remastered them through our more modern studio gear. We think they hold up pretty well!

While we were here we also remixed and remastered Solstice, our first single as a band, to try to bring it closer to the original sound we wanted.

Thanks for listening and we've got more music planned for the coming months!
